About PoroGen Corporation

Membrane Devices for Separation of Liquids & Gases PoroGen Corporation is a leader in development of high temperature polymeric materials for controlled porosity applications. PoroGen Corporation was founded with the goal of commercializing chemically inert and high temperature resistant porous polymeric membranes for a wide range of applications including nanofiltration, microfiltration, gas separation, gas liquid transfer and hybrid membrane absorption processes.

Our membrane products are manufactured from best in class engineering polymer poly (ether ether ketone), PEEK. PEEK-SEP™ membranes are inert to organic solvents and can operate at high temperatures. The porous structure and surface characteristics of PEEK membranes are tailored towards customer separation application needs.

PEEK-SEP™ membranes can purify “aggressive” industrial fluids without expensive pretreatment. PEEK-SEP™ membranes are used to purify natural gas, for VOC abatement and filtration of aggressive solvents. Membranes are manufactured in hollow fiber configuration. Flat sheet membranes are available under special order.

PoroGen manufactures membrane products in-house. We identify and demonstrate separation applications uniquely enabled by our products. We establish collaborative partnerships with companies that introduce these products into the market as part of a comprehensive separation system.

Our company offers customers and prospective system integrators a strong and growing patented product portfolio, a unique family of products based on poly (ether ether ketone) membrane materials, and the ability to identify and serve applications in both mature and emerging markets.

PoroGen conducts research, application development and manufactures membrane filters at two sites in Woburn, Massachusetts.
