Hollow Fiber Membrane Filters

PoroGen PEEKSep Products Manufacturing processes across numerous industries require cost efficient filtration and purification of liquids. PEEK-SEP™ hollow fiber membranes remove particulates and undesired dissolved impurities and perform most challenging molecular separations. The membrane pore size and surface chemistry is tailored towards specific application. PEEK-SEP™ hollow fiber membranes can operate at high temperature in aggressive environments encountered in “real world” industrial streams and can meet most challenging separation needs encountered in dozens of industries including:

  • Oil & Gas
  • Semiconductor & Microelectronics
  • Energy & Power Production
  • Pharmaceutical
  • Petroleum & Hydrocarbon Processing
  • Chemical processing
  • Purification of Solvents and Chemicals

PEEK-SEP™ hollow fiber membranes provide superior liquid microfiltration control. PEEK-SEP™ filters deliver ultimate protection against contaminants in organic solvents. Our patented PEEK membrane technology has the highest particle retention efficiency and is self wetting. PEEK-SEP™ filters deliver high flow rates and stable performance combined with small contained filter volume.

    Pervaporation

PEEK-SEP™ hollow fiber membranes are designed to efficiently remove volatile products generated by fermentation processes. The applications include butanol removal from ABE fermentation solutions and ethanol recovery in biofuels production.

    Nanofiltration

PEEK-SEP™ nanofiltration hollow fiber membranes are designed to reject molecules with sizes in the order of nanometers which are dissolved in organic solvent. These separations are enabled by control of pore size and surface chemistry and by the exceptional chemical and thermal durability of PEEK. PoroGen is currently developing several industrial scale nanofiltration applications.
